| Q: How does this all work? | |
| A: You choose one of our pricing plans and within 7 days you have complete control of your own dedicated server. The server will be for you, there will be no other users on it whatsoever, you have complete access over the server. You will be 'root' on the machine to install and configure any software any way you want. The server will be housed in our dedicated network center. | |
| Q: What happens if some of the hardware stops working? | |
| A: Automatically we're paged and at least one engineer of ours will come down and email you and let you know the situation. We will then replace any faulty hardware from the supplies that we keep onsite at all time. | |
| Q: Who pays for the replacement hardware? | |

A: We do, it is covered in your monthly fee. There are no surcharges or hidden charges with our plans if you keep in your bandwidth quota. |

| Q: Do I get to keep the server at the end of the contract? | |
| A: No, the server remains our property at all times. | |
| Q: How many sites am I allowed to host? | |
| A: As many as you wish, you are in control. We don't put any restrictions on how many users you have. | |
| Q: Do I have to buy the domains through you or can I register my own and set them up? | |
| A: By all means, do them yourself. We can (for a small fee) register the domains for you though and create the DNS records. | |
| Q: Who looks after the DNS and the mail? | |
| A: You do, we install Microsoft's DNS server and Microsoft's SMTP server as standard on all our servers. It is up to you then to add pop3 boxes or email forwarding rules, you can also download and use some third party software, such as Imail (www.ipswitch.com) | |
| Q: What is the minimum contract time? | |
| A: Each price plan has a minimum contract. The minimum contract time is just six months. | |
| Q: How much may I buy domain names from you at? | |
| A: Currently, Dedicated Server customers are allowed to buy domains from us at £10 per 2yrs for any .co.uk and £30 for any .com, this includes all registration costs and if need be DNS management. This means you can sell these domains onto your customers at whatever price you want. | |
| Q: I've no experience with Windows 2000 at all, how will I cope? | |
| A: Easy. For one, Windows 2000 is common in many ways to Windows NT 4. Infact, all Windows versions (98/NT4/2000) look alike in some respects and actually operate in pretty much the same way. Windows 2000 contains wizards allowing you to addusers with a few clicks, either by using Pc Anywhere 9.0 or by using a secure password protected webpage to add websites and users. | |
